Expo Plastics
Expo Plastics is an international exhibition and business forum specialising in showcasing the latest technology in machinery, raw materials, peripheral equipment and plastic solutions for all industries. It will take place from 28-30 March 2023 in Guadalajara, Mexico.

Recycling Technik trade fair
Recycling Technik, which will take place from 29-30 March 2023 in Dortmund (Germany), is the meeting point for the environment and the recycling industry. International recycling professionals meet with exhibitors to offer solutions for specific needs. Exchange and networking as well as networking with renowned businesses are the objectives of the exhibition.
In addition, the exhibitions SOLIDS Dortmund and PUMPS & VALVES Dortmund will take place in parallel, creating a unique combination that offers numerous synergies for exhibitors and visitors. No other event brings the industry together so effectively and so compactly in 2 days.
ChinaPlas – International Plastics and Rubber Fair
ChinaPlas is the largest plastics and rubber fair in Asia and one of the most influential exhibitions in the world. The next edition is scheduled to take place from 17-20 April in Shenzhen, China, and will focus on sustainability and circularity, intelligence and innovation.
More than 3,900 exhibitors are expected, with the 9 pavilions from Austria, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, the United States and Taiwan. There will also be 18 themed zones, located in the Machinery Halls and Chemical & Raw Material Halls. These zones will cover injection moulding solutions, extrusion machinery, 3D technologies, recycling technology, smart manufacturing solutions, bioplastics, composites and high performance materials, thermoplastic elastomers and rubber, etc.
Bureau International of Recycling (BIR) Convention
The Bureau International of Recycling‘s convention will be held in 2023 from 21 to 24 May in Amsterdam, the organisation’s birthplace, coinciding with its 75th anniversary. It is an unbeatable opportunity for companies in the recycling sector to position their brand and establish international relations.
The aim of this meeting is to share experiences and knowledge in order to establish successful business relationships and promote recycling in other sectors, facilitating fair trade in recyclable materials worldwide. Competitiveness in the sector is sought, while raising public awareness of the economic and environmental benefits of recycling.
This association brings together more than 760 private sector companies and 36 national associations from more than 70 countries, making it the largest association in the sector in the world since it was created in 1948 to support the interests of the recycling sector on an international level. At the 2022 Barcelona meeting, the BIR convention hosted more than 850 companies and 40 affiliated federations for plenary meetings, as well as BIR committee meetings and exhibitions, coinciding that year with the recognition of the importance of recycling and the success of recycling in textiles, stainless steel, rubber, plastics and ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
Plastic Recycling Show Europe
Plastic Recycling Show Europe is the exhibition, conference and awards show dedicated to plastics recycling in continental Europe and returns to the Amsterdam RAI from 10-11 May 2023. AISTech – Iron and Steel Technology Exhibition
AISTech is North America’s largest annual iron and steel technology conference and exhibition. It provides a global view of today’s marketplace by showcasing technologies from around the world that enable steelmakers to be more competitive.
The Iron and Steel Technology Expo will be held in Detroit, USA, from 8 to 11 May 2023. This fair provides an international platform for its visitors and exhibitors to exchange ideas, experiences and knowledge about the industry. Equiplast
Equiplast is the international plastics and rubber meeting held in Barcelona from 30 May to 2 June 2023. This event brings together all sectors belonging to the plastics and rubber industry to showcase innovative and sustainable solutions to address global challenges related to their impact on the environment.
Over the four days, the event will be the meeting point for the latest solutions in circular economy and innovation to accelerate the transformation to a sustainable future.
They estimate that there will be more than 150 exhibitors and more than 19,000 visitors, making it possible to establish relationships, as well as bringing the entire value chain together in one place.
E-waste Conference and Expo
E-Waste, which takes place in Frankfurt from 28-29 June 2023, is the must-attend event for WEEE recyclers, critical raw material suppliers, electronics manufacturers and the entire e-waste recycling supply chain. The event brings together these audiences to discover the latest innovations and solutions to create a circular economy and help build sustainable supply chains for the future.
The conference will cover topics such as collection and recovery strategies, circular electronics, raw materials, design for recycling, sorting solutions and the recycling of industrial, commercial and post-consumer electronic products.

Aluminium China
Aluminium China, which will take place from Wednesday 5 July to Friday 7 July 2023 in Shanghai, is the most important event for the aluminium industry and its main fields of application in China and the Asian region. Waste & Recycling Expo Canada
Waste & Recycling Expo Canada brings together all sectors of the waste, recycling and public works industries: from transportation, heavy equipment, composting to construction, road safety, sustainability solutions and much more. It will be held from 26 to 27 September 2023 in Toronto.
Attracting more than 2,000 attendees and nearly 200 exhibiting companies from around the world, the event is the industry’s most important platform. This year, the event will focus on three key areas:

Pollutec
Pollutec is the trade fair for environmental and energy solutions that takes place every two years in Lyon (France) both in person and online from 10 to 13 October 2023.
This hybrid edition offers concrete solutions for a new ecological model: from the treatment of pollution and waste to the protection of the environment and the fight against climate change. This is a fair that has been running for more than 40 years, making it the key event for the ecological and energy transition.

Aluminum USA
Aluminum USA is an event for the metallurgy sector that covers the entire aluminium value chain (from the initial stages such as mining, through intermediate stages such as smelting to downstream stages such as manufacturing). The event will take place from 25-26 October 2023 in Nashville, USA.
This biennial event provides a forum for the industry’s leading suppliers and professionals to come together for face-to-face meetings, exhibitions, cutting-edge conferences, educational programmes and networking opportunities. Plastimagen
Plastimagen is an event with more than two decades of experience, making it the benchmark event in the plastics processing industry in Mexico and Latin America. The fair will be held from 7 to 10 November 2023 in Mexico City, and will feature more than 870 companies from over 27 countries, 14 international pavilions and 1 specialised pavilion of the National Association of Plastics Industries in Mexico (ANIPAC).

GIFA/METEC
GIFA is the International Trade Fair for Foundry Workshops and will be held for the 15th time from 12 to 16 June 2023 in Düsseldorf. In 2023, GIFA will once again cover all global ranges in foundry fields and plants, refractory technologies, machines and equipment for moulding and manufacturing, foundry machines and much more.
GIFA is part of The Brigth of Metals: NEWCAST, THERMPROCESS and METEC. This “quadruple” industry gathering is a unique concept and provides exclusive contacts. The favourite platform for industry decision-makers, buyers, users and experts in the metallurgy, heat technology and foundry industries.
At the last edition in 2019, the trade fair recorded 78,000 visitors from 120 countries and featured more than 2,000 exhibitors, accompanied by a varied supporting programme with numerous seminars, international congresses, symposia and lecture series.
Advanced Manufacturing Madrid
The 15th edition of Advanced Manufacturing Madrid will be held from 15 to 16 November 2023 at IFEMA, with 38,400 m2 of floor space that will host more than 600 exhibiting companies and 12,000 professionals.
It is the real meeting point for the entire manufacturing industry thanks to the union of its three events: MetalMadrid, RobomáticaMadrid and Composites Madrid and its five transversal areas: Connected, Additive, Surface, Product testing & Quality Control and Smart plastics.
It is the leading event in industrial transformation and a must for any company that wants to improve its production chain and seek the most innovative solutions for its business.
Therefore, Advance Manufacturing will come to Barcelona for the first time on 13 and 14 September, at Fira, with its brands MetalBarcelona and Robomática Barcelona. It is estimated that almost 200 brands will present the latest in advanced manufacturing, machining and metal transformation.
Euroguss – International Foundry Fair
Euroguss is a biennial trade fair to be held at Nürnberg Messe Nuremberg, Germany, from 16 to 18 January 2024. It is one of the world’s leading trade fairs specialising in injection moulding technology. It presents the entire injection moulding value chain such as die casting of aluminium, zamak, magnesium, injection moulding machines, machining or space alloys.
The international foundry industry is meeting for the 15th time at the sector’s largest trade fair, where exhibitors and visitors will be able to discuss the latest developments in the industry over three exhibition days. The event also focuses on topics such as rapid prototyping, die casting machinery and material testing.
K Fair – International Plastics Trade Fair
The K Trade Fair is the world’s leading trade fair for plastics and rubber. The next edition will take place from 8 to 15 October 2025 in Düsseldorf, Germany, having last been held in 2022.
With more than 3,037 exhibitors from 59 different countries and 177,468 visitors from 167 countries, the K trade fair will also become the perfect environment for doing business and making new contacts in 2025. Leading companies from the plastics and rubber industries present the entire range of services in the sector on an international level.
It is a must-attend international event for those who want to see the latest innovations in technology, but also to find out what the industry’s priorities will be. In each edition, the fair focuses on the thematic axes that reflect the current situation of the industry and show a vision of the future of the sector. This year, it will present three strategic themes: circular economy, climate protection and digitalisation.
SRR – International Trade Fair for Recovery and Recycling
The International Recycling and Recovery Trade Fair (SRR) is considered the reference event in the circular economy sector, and is promoted by the Spanish Federation of Recovery and Recycling (FER). It will be held in 2024, from 11 to 13 June in Madrid, at IFEMA.
The slogan of the next fair, in 2024, is “Generating resources. Generating the future”, which reflects the commitment of the FER and all participants to the promotion of the circular economy and care for the environment.
For three days, experts, companies and organisations will meet at the SRR fair to present and discuss the latest innovations and solutions in the field of the circular economy.
The fair programme includes a wide variety of activities: conferences, lectures, workshops, presentations and exhibitions of products and technologies. In addition, international and national experts in the field of recovery and recycling will be present.
